About

My work has been on hiatus for a few years but now I'm back in the studio exploring ideas for 2D works.

In my ceramic work, I was interested in designing and making objects for use in daily life, or to occupy domestic spaces. My inspiration came from the natural world, especially the effects of erosion and weathering on rocks in particular. I enjoyed exploring minimalist forms and I also liked to contrast different colours and textures for bold effect.

I work in a small studio in South West England. I completed a BTEC: National Diploma in Fine Art at College and then after becoming interested in 3D work, I achieved a BA(hons) in 3D Design: Ceramics in 2009.
